Christmas in Holmes Chapel
Ho! Ho! Ho! For Christmas with Holmes Chapel Partnership! Not long to wait now for our Christmas Market on 1 December, 4.00–7.00pm. All the stalls are booked and what a variety on sale from knitted jumpers to sparkling jewellery and art ‘with a difference’ to toys for the young people and little luxuries for the not so young!

Our uniformed organisations and charity groups will have stalls helping them to raise much needed funds for their various causes. Hot drinks will keep us warm; mince pies, tasty BBQ burgers and baps will stave off the hunger pains whilst mulled wine and other tipples will help the Christmas spirit. Church bells will call us and choirs, dancing, a musical organ and festive music will entertain us. Father Christmas will be there too along with an exciting ride usually only seen on a fairground.
This will be our eighth Christmas market and we are sure, well worth a visit. For three hours some of our shops and businesses, the Co-op car park, St Luke’s Church Hall, the Scout HQ and Holmes Chapel centre is heaving with folk from our village and further afield.
We would really appreciate some help in making this event happen! If you are able, please meet us in the Co-op car park at 1.30pm to help erect the stalls and/or at 7.00pm to help us take them down – it really is a case of ‘many hands make light work’ so thank you, if you can join us.

If Santa is delayed, or has simply stopped to feed the reindeer , you will be able to see exactly where he is.
